About this job
We are currently looking to hire Medical Assistants in the Baltimore, MD area. We have openings in a variety of specialties: PEDs, Neuroradiology, Internal Medicine, Ortho, Sports Medicine, Oncology and OBGYN. Medical assistant MUST be either CERTIFIED or REGISTERED. The candidates will be working in the front and back office. MAs must have 1+ years of experience. Pay depends on experience and ranges from $12-$16/hour.
Duties Include:
- Taking vitals, rooming patients, giving injections/vaccines, drawing blood, preforming EKGs, reviewing medication history and other back office duties
- Utilizing EMR
- Answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting patients, completing prior-authorization requests and other front office duties
