Delivering daily on Distinguished Hospitality- that is what we ask of you, but we also expect you are exceptional at the following:  

  • Oversight of daily operations and overall performance of this lifestyle property.
  • Lead all financial aspects for the hotel including budget and financial management, planning, organizational management and leadership practices for all hotel services, including: Executive Committee, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Maintenance.
  • Driver of Revenue Strategy “ working closely with revenue management team to maximize asset value and bottom line profit.
  • Work with hourly and managerial team on development and growth “ produce great leaders and prepare them for their next role.
  • As the US Flagship Renaissance property, partner with the Renaissance Brand team to produce and execute top notch events and be the flag bearer for other properties to emulate.
  • Continue relationship with both the Garment District Alliance and NYC & CO on overarching city objectives.  
  • Ability to multitask and handle several projects at once, while still maintaining day to day operational oversight on a hotel running 90% annual occupancy.
Position Function:
  • Continually defines sales strategies with the objective of improving occupancy and average room rates.
  • Proactively drives and manages all daily hotel operations.
  • Ensures that all decisions and actions taken by the Departments correspond to the budget and                                                                                             established objectives and business plan.
  • Constantly supervises and evaluates the standards of quality and services in general, and the adequate maintenance and functionality of the facilities.
  • Encourages team interaction and leads management team regarding quality assurance, training, guest services, and follows up on opportunities for improvements.
  • Evaluates performance and supports department heads in setting short and long-term objectives,standards of service and quality, and monitors results.
  • Supports implementation of company and brand directives.
  • Leads PR campaign for the hotel and brand.
  • Maintains strong community networks and represents the hotel and brand in key events.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficient in the areas of sales & marketing with an advanced knowledge of revenue to drive the hotel incomes.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented.
  • Strong financial and cost control skills.
  • Proven leadership and managerial skills.
  • Candidate must demonstrate passion for high quality of service, standards and product.
  • Able to maximize efficiency and achieve the highest volume of revenue and EBIDTA.
