FOOD SERVICE FULL-TIME SUPERVISOR
Six Flags Fiesta Texas is seeking a conscientious and experienced Food Service Leader to enhance and maintain the expense analysis and controls necessary to ensure the budgetary standards of success are being monitored and measured. Main job functions are related to, but not limited to, the systems and financial side of the business.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND REQUIREMENTS:
* Understand and monitor performance metrics, data and trends; educate location leaders on key drivers and cost controls to improve margins
* Ensures all Point of Sales are programmed and operating properly. Responsible for register programming (Freedom), new register key request, setup and testing, coupons, discounts, pricing, pricing changes.
* Managing entire process of Calorie Count Project
* Work closely with Corporate Team, local Marketing and Admission team to ensure the Dining Pass Key Programming is accurate (Ecommerce, Accesso, SFTS, In Park)
* Create monthly and event Profit and Loss recaps for the Department
* Miscellaneous Weekly and Monthly Reporting Functions (Weekly Departmental Recap, Cost of Sales and Leasee Reporting)
* Assist Manager with Forecasting and Budget (through tracking expenditures)
* Collaborate with entire Culinary Team in the creation, implementation, and follow up on employee incentive plans, sanitation procedures, revenue generating ideas / implementation, menu development, and the recruitment, selection, motivation, discipline and assisting of all levels of the Culinary Team
* Overseeing the Overall Daily Operations in the park by developing strong relationships with location leaders, being present and available while and holding the team accountable
* Attend all required training by Department or Company.
* Anything else directed by the Culinary Services Manager or In Park Services Director.
The Ideal Candidate must possess:
* Solid business acumen and must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
* Minimum of three years of Leadership experience. Restaurant experience a plus.
* Ability to acquire TABC and Serve Safe Certifications
* College Degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends to support theme park operations
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written format.
* Effective organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions is required.
* Ability to serve as Culinary Manager on Duty
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, will train on other systems.
