About this job
Supervise all Customer Service personnel. Including interviewing new employees.
Approve all quotes and bid prepared for customers
Assist Customer Service staff with, answering inbound calls from customers to book sales orders, answer questions, provide product descriptions/uses
Using the ERP system, enter sales orders into the system and generate respective reports, acknowledgments, etc
Verify sales order prices to customer contract pricing, customer purchase orders
Work with appropriate Planner/Scheduler/Expeditor on expedited orders
Gather facts on potential product issues from customers
Initiate resolution to customer calls and e-mails regarding product issues
Interact with management to resolve issues in the mutual interest of the company and the customer
Prepare quotations/bids received from customers
Meet deadlines/schedules
Prepare credit information and provide to accounting in a timely manner
Must understand pricing concepts, ie., how to calculate prices based on percentage of margin, application of discounts to list prices
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies
