Verifications - Data Entry Specialist

Leading Health Benefit Management Company looking to hire agents to join their Verification department.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews the imaged document, looks for errors, verifies member and/or provider eligibility against the EZ-Cap system.
• Enters data into computer or onto magnetic tape or disk for subsequent entry by performing the following duties
• Keeps track of received data and source documents.
• Prepares and sorts source documents, and identifies and interprets data to be entered.
• Enters alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into computer following format displayed on screen, and enters necessary codes.
• Compares data entered with source documents, or reenters data in verification format on screen to detect errors
• Makes necessary corrections to information entered

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in operating computers applications
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Compensation/Schedule:

• $14/hour
• Monday - Friday 10:00 am - 6:30 pm.
