Under the general supervision of the District Manager this position exists to assist in managing the scheduling, staffing and execution of inventory operations for a single location to achieve profitability and service goals in support of the overall company objectives. The incumbent supervises the Inventory Specialists, Crew Managers, Team Leaders, Production Supervisors and Inventory Managers.

Meet or exceed projected profit plan for the office by ensuring employee training programs are conducted to improve productivity, adhering to established expense controls, seeking out new expense control/reduction opportunities, adhering to established standard production procedures and acting as a primary crew manager at significant inventories.

Ensure all inventories assigned to the office meet targeted service levels and financial goals by proper planning and inventory preparation.

Contribute to company-wide sales efforts of both new and existing accounts by meeting customer needs, cultivating customer relationships and delivering a high level of service by taking calculated risks and committing appropriate resources and/or time to improve performance.

Increase productivity by following all WIS policies and procedures and ensuring effective staffing, developing, training and motivating of employees including discipline and corrective action when necessary.

Ensure consistent high quality, profitable service levels through effective and efficient execution of inventories by scheduling the appropriate number of trained/qualified staff, allocating functioning

equipment, coordinating safe transportation of crews to the customer site, reviewing and adhering to predetermined account instructions and communicating instructions to the crews.

Reduce Workers' Compensation expenditures by promoting and participating in safety awareness and accident prevention programs, creating a "culture" of safety practices in the workplace, carrying out appropriate disciplinary and corrective action procedures to avoid legal costs and training and enforcing fair employment practices among all employees.

Effectively organize, prioritize, plan and execute tasks within required time frames by being focused and performing numerous tasks at once.

Keep employment data needed for personnel action decision making by maintaining employee records, attendance records, policies, procedures and regulatory documents and reports, as required by law and the Customer Support Center.

Recruit new employees through source development and by advertising positions, screening resumes for qualifications, interviewing applicants, making hiring and non-hiring decisions, conducting background investigations, and minimizing legal risk and exposure.

Select, develop, train, monitor and provide general direction to subordinate managers to ensure the successful performance of their principle duties and responsibilities.

Normally requires a bachelor's degree in business administration or related curriculum. Knowledge of financial statements, applicable labor and fair employment laws as well as knowledge of word processing and spread sheet software (i.e., Excel) is essential. Must be highly knowledgeable about the technical nature of the service delivery system and have a thorough understanding of the inventory process in order to ensure balance and effectiveness.

Normally requires 2-3 years previous related experience, of which 1-2 years should have been spent in a lead or supervisory capacity. Should have experience managing large numbers of hourly employees in retail, restaurant or other service-related industry. Must have a proven track record of successful team building, sales, customer contact/service, and, personal computer operations.
