About this job
Our client in Olathe, KS is currently seeking several people to join their team on 1st and 2nd shift. Aerotek will be hiring these individuals on a contract-to-hire basis.
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
- Very flexible with job description as it will be assigned after the 1st day of orientation
- Experience in a metal shop, with assembly, or material handling
Role/Details:
- DEPARTMENT 1: contractors will be building cooling towers for industrial buildings. Experience in hand and power tools preferred. Contractors will be performing mechanical assembly with steel parts
- DEPARTMENT 2: contractors will be handling/sorting stainless steel parts as it is cut from punches/lasers and also assisting the brake operators.
- DEPARTMENT 2: For the steel shop, contractors will be operating a drill press.
