Material Handler/Stores Attendant - Full-time / Part-time

Top Three Skills: coordination, receiving, inventory Job Description: Under semi direct supervision, receive, identify, inspect, tally, and complete necessary record work in connection with unloading or shipping materials and supplies in the operation of a Distribution Center, and perform associated work.prepare material for shipment or storage; identify and record salvaged material returned; usable material in stock; assist in performing inventory counts; operate any automotive equipment and its auxiliary equipment used in transporting materials or equipment through service territory or to or from manufacturer's location including loading and unloading; load and unload hazardous material such as oil filled equipment and lead acid batteries following all safety procedures; operate material handling equipment such as hand trucks, forklift trucks, low lift trucks, hoists, overhead cranes, order pickers, power sweepers and other equipment as required; perform paper or computer work necessary for unattended storerooms; all work will be performed according to procedures, practices and safety rules; Requirements: successfully complete Material Handler testing; working knowledge of warehouse operations for receiving, issuing, storing and recording materials and supplies; must be familiar with related accounting practices and procedures using electronic data processing; demonstrated ability to operate any automotive equipment and its auxiliary equipment involved in transporting materials and supplies and all material handling equipment; must be able to perform clerical, inventory and accounting work involved in an accurate and efficient manner. Work Environment: they will be working in lay yard to coordinator parts/supplies Qualifications: Must have experience in receiving setting
Must be proficient in basic computer skills
Must have 2-3 years in material handling, preferably similar projects
Must be able to work in Broken Arrow, OK Performance Expectations: Will have a couple fork lift operators they may need to supervise. Must be able to work independently without direct supervisor with them at all times Interview Information: Will interview and must be able to pass SASS testing
