Production Operator - Full-Time Position- Chaska, MN

Award Staffing is hiring Machine Operators for a growing company in Chanhassen that produces lip balm containers and other small plastic containers. Position: Production Operator
Shift: Monday-Friday
Hours:10:45pm -7:00am                               
Pay: $12.00/hr
 

Job Description:

• Perform machine assembly operations of raw and finished products by following standard work protocols. Various machines include assembly, filling, labeling, and blister.

Essential Responsibilities

• Load raw materials into machines, remove, package and palletize finished goods
• Operate non-motorized equipment to move pallets of raw materials, compound components, barrels of bulk or finished goods
• Conduct quality checks on raw and finished products
• Basic production machine troubleshooting
• Basic computer data entry
• Read and operate production weight scale
• Perform basic machine cleaning or troubleshooting
• Accept direction and follow work instructions
• Understand and practice safety in all areas of the facility
• Wear personal protection equipment including lab coat, hair/beard net, eye protection, hearing protection

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Read, write, speak and understand English
• Basic computer skills
• Basic math skills with assistance of a calculator
• Punctual and reliable attendance
• High attention to detail

• Flexibility to work occasional overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Experience in manufacturing environment
