The Child Care Aide at Prater Lane will work with children ages 2 months to 6 years and take care of personal needs of the children in a nurturing and caring environment; including but not limited to snacks, lunches, potty training and diaper changes. He/She helps the Lead Teacher in the classroom with activities and curriculum and communicates positively with co-workers, children and parents. Flexibility, patience and the ability to lift 35 lbs. is a must. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School or Equivalent Education
• Basic internet navigation
• Must be fluent in all aspects of the English language (spoken and written)
• Must have excellent guest service skills
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must work well in a team
• Must be willing and able to change diapers
• Must successfully complete all Background Checks and physical
• Must be able to work in inclement weather in a high alpine environment
• Must have sight, speech, and hearing abilities sufficient to learn skills, follow and provide directions
• Must be available to work some holidays
• Must be able to lift a minimal of 35 lbs

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Previous early childhood experience preferred
• First Aid, CPR and Universal Precautions preferred
