Summary of Job: This position functions to assure that daily revenue and settlements from Afton Alps are recorded and sold separately. Revenue Auditors monitor areas of potential risk to the company and communicate with management to identify and resolve issues.

 

Essential Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Complete and file revenue audit packs and keep within a specified period.
  • Audit all packs received from Mountain locations within four days of date of sale, or as specified by supervisor.
  • Adjust revenue for locations to RPOS/General Ledger through CAS entries.
  • Ensure that locations are properly assembling the audit packs, and notify them of any discrepancies through Audit Points of Concern (APOC) spreadsheet.
  • Communicate with locations to resolve issues and identify trends.
  • Responsible for filing and boxing audit packs and credit card receipts.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees/managers from other departments.
  • Must be very attentive to detail, possess great organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for employees and guests.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate professionally to staff and Guests. Respond and engage with customer suggestions, complaints, and recognition.
  • Adhere to all policies, rules, and regulations of Vail Resorts and Afton Alps.
  • Develop, adhere to, and role model the company’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • RPOS Knowledge – Preferred
  • InfoGenesis Knowledge - Preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Must pass background check
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Professionalism and strong guest service skills, attention to detail and timeliness
  • Willing to work in a team environment - Required
  • Previous accounting experience – Preferred
  • Previous cash handling experience - Preferred
  • Flexible schedule required during peak times throughout the year.  Must be willing to work evenings, holidays and weekends – Required
