About this job
Develop BOM for design projects, troubleshoot and debug design projects, interpret and use appropriate electrical codes for design. All design will be done using AutoCAD.
Design electrical controls and associated software with PLCs, HMIs, motion controllers and other hardware/software aspects
Hands-on design, testing and troubleshooting of electrical controls and programming for custom and standard products.
Produce conceptual custom systems design and quotes as required.
Responsible for design and debug of software of control systems.
Design electrical schematics and layout drawing
Develop PLC and HMI design projects
Will spend the first year doing all electrical design and then will get into some PLC Programming. This is something they will teach if the individual does not have any experience.
5-10% travel
3+ years of experience within electrical design.
Must have experience with AutoCAD
Preferred skills
HMI software, Wonderware, CTC Parker, Rockwell, and Citect.
PLC hardware/software -Rockwell, Honeywell, and Koyo.
Communications, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, and DeviceNet.
Microsoft Visual Basic programming.
Experience with electrical design using
BSEE is a plus
