This is a Production/Warehouse oriented position involved in the processing of silicon for the semiconductor industry
This particular role will entail responsibilities pertaining to inventory management; organizing, scanning, and prepping material for the next stage of production.
The environment is very active, and can be dirty at times, and will be working around/with machinery that can be very hot.
There will be frequent, repetitious lifting/maneuvering of 10lb. bags of material throughout the day. Though not ultimately a lot of "heavy" lifting, it can be strenuous due to the repetitious lifting of this moderate weight. Very active and physical position in general for those reasons.
Must be able to stand or be walking for extended periods of time and able to work a 12-hour shift.
Basic computer skills are necessary, including basic proficiency with email and Microsoft Excel.
Must be highly organized, attentive to detail, willing and ready to learn and be trained, and able to work well with others as part of a team.
Shift is planned to start training on a 12-hour Day Shift, 6am to 6pm, on a compressed workweek schedule with required work every other weekend and overtime as necessary. Ideal candidates will be open to working any shift however, as it is possible to need to move this position to the 12-hour night shift rotation in the future, but is planned to remain on day shift for the time being.
