Our industrial client is seeking a new Master Scheduler to join their team. This is a brand new position that the company has not implemented before, therefore candidates must be open to and experienced with taking on new programs.


The purpose of this role is to work with the Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, and Production departments to develop and manage forecast for long range material planning while considering current inventory, lead times, product life cycles and production capacity.

General job duties include:
* Identify and implement system and process improvements within the materials group to enable overall business process improvement. ERP implementation experience is key here, they're not looking for someone who has taken on an already established system.

* Assist in the development and implementation of a forecast process and supply programs to improve current days of inventory and cash cycle.

* Develop forecasting tools and procedures through application of innovative ideas and projects. They need someone who is very procedural-minded and can stir up good changes within their current processes. This person cannot be afraid to take control and be in the trenches.

* Analyze inventory levels and product demands to determine reorder levels and safety stocks that will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs. Cost mindedness is the name of the game, since this is a high-mix high-volume purchasing environment.

Seeking candidates with 5-10 years of experience Master Scheduling within a Industrial/Complex Machinery Environment

Needs ERP implementation/upgrades experience.
