POSITION SUMMARY:
As an industry authority, provides both internal and external consulting services. Works independently on advanced systems/software analysis projects. Remains current in operating systems/software analysis and technological developments/applications.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
The client seeks a talented candidate to identify and evaluate future technologies. The candidate will be responsible for identifying vendors with products that fill gaps in the enterprise. The candidate will gather requirements from customers. The candidate will build and integrate those products in a test environment. The candidate will then integrate those products into the enterprise. Some technologies will be Multi-factor authentication (MFA), Software Defined Networking (SDN), Video on Demand (VOD), Application Performance Management (APM) and others. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent and 16 to 18 years of related experience. 1) Demonstrated on-the-job experience with communicating and evaluating vendor products. 2) Demonstrated on-the-job experience with Windows server 2008 and 2012. 3) Demonstrated on-the-job experience in administering, Network equipment. 4) Demonstrated on-the-job experience with System Security Plans (SSP) and C&A process. 5) Demonstrated on-the-job experience securing systems using C&A process. Clearance level is TS/SCI w/Poly required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
