Etsy is seeking a Human Resources Benefit Analyst to partner with our HR Operations team. As the ideal candidate for this position, you have deep functional expertise across a variety of HR competencies with a focused concentration in Global Benefits. Total rewards are a fundamental component of HR s mission to ensure that employees feel valued. As part of that, you will help administer, analyze, and develop our global programs. You LOVE benefits, you uncover issues, analyze for best practice, you know the trends and you are excited to present that to the senior team. You know the great impact benefits have on employee satisfaction, employer brand, not to mention the financial and wellness of your employees. You are not afraid to voice and market plans to enable Etsy's employees to achieve better outcomes. You get excited educating the employee body and you will stop at nothing short of using a megaphone to let them know about their competitive plans.
This position reports to the Director of HR Operations and is based in Brooklyn, New York.
About the role

  • Provide ongoing analysis on trends, legislative changes and best practices within Benefits.
  • Establish and develop measures to improve efficiency and accuracy in plan management.
  • Design and develop benefit programs and policies aligned with organizational objectives, goals and budget.
  • Develop full-cycle comprehensive communication plan to inform and educate prospective and current employees about total rewards changes and updates.
  • Ensure existing benefits are best in class and compliant with provisions of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, FMLA and other local regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Manage the day-to-day administration of all global benefits and leaves, maintaining eligibility and annual open enrollments.
  • Play a pivotal role in selecting, implementing, and managing Etsy s benefits partners and vendors.
  • Responsible for maintaining and ensuring data integrity between our HRIS (Workday) and all carriers. Work closely with payroll to ensure all employee deductions are processed accurately.
About You
  • Bachelor s Degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business related field
  • At least 7 years of experience working in Human Resources
  • Exceptional analytic abilities and attention to detail demonstrated through prior work experience
  • Detail orientated with strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Global Benefits
  • Experience with Workday a plus
  • Ability to work well independently and as a team member
