ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES(other duties may be assigned)

Responsible for the overall cleanliness of all reception areas in assigned buildings.

Dust and clean furniture.Clean window sills. Spot clean walls. Vacuum floors. Empty trash and reline trash cans.

Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the restrooms in assigned buildings.

Clean and sanitize all toilets and urinals.Stock paper towels, toilet tissue and soap dispensers. Clean and sanitize sinks, counter topsand mirrors. Empty and reline trash bins and sanitary napkin holders. Wipe and polish outside of trash bins. Wipe down both sides of doors. Sweep and mop floors.

Responsible for the following Friday duties.

Pour clean water down drains each Friday.Clean bathroom stall walls, baseboards, and ceramic walls each Friday. Spot clean when needed.

Assist other Center Departments as requested.

Other duties:

Assist in setting-up and breaking-down of meeting rooms (table and chair placements).

Assist with additional preparations as requested by Supervisor (this would entail at times, turning on-off coffee maker(s), getting ice prior to meetings, stocking galley supplies, paper plates, etc., and assisting when necessary in the clean-up after meetings.

Do paint touch-ups on walls as necessary.

Maintain equipment and janitorial closet/supplies on daily basis.

Utilize and support the philosophy, objectives, policy and procedures of the Center.

Advocate for clients and families and interacts with them in a manner which reflects cultural sensitivity.

Follow applicable laws as set forth by such governing bodies as the Department of Children and Families, AHCA, JCAHO and Medicaid.

Follows the procedures set forth in the Center-wide, Departmental, Personnel, Compliance and Medicaid Manuals.

Assures that the clients' rights are protected and reports any abuse/neglect to the proper authority.

Participates in quality improvement activities, staff meetings, in-services and external trainings.

Relate to agency clients, the public, program staff, and colleagues in a manner that is consistent with Center standards.

Demonstrate courtesy in interactions with staff, clients and the public.

Follow the Center's standards for ethical behavior and treatment.

Strictly adheres to the Center's rules of confidentiality and State regulations relating to HIPAA.


Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Reports to work as scheduled and on time.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent with related experience.

Specific vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Employee must have the ability to move rapidly and assist in the containment of agitated clients.
