Overview

 

General RV Center, one of the largest and most successful RV retailers in the nation, has an immediate opening for a full-time Delivery Specialist. We believe in providing a world class customer experience and a large part of that experience occurs when a customer takes delivery of their new recreational vehicle. The Delivery Specialist provides a complete demonstration to customers to help them learn how to fully enjoy their new RV.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Create an engaging and fun experience for customers upon taking delivery of their RV. This is the time when we roll out the red carpet and show our appreciation.
  • You will become a product expert and learn how to effectively teach customers how to fully utilize their RV.
  • Assist and oversee the proper completion of prepping and detailing the RV prior to customer arrival to ensure it meets General RV Center quality standards.
  • You will work directly with the Delivery Coordinator to host the customer(s) from the moment they arrive to the store to create a seamless transition throughout the delivery process. 
  • Guide the customers through the entire parts department and make suggestions on what products they will need in order to have successful RV experience. This will include coordinating installs of any parts purchased.
  • Other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma is required
  • Previous Customer Service experience is required, ideally within retail setting
  • Sales experience is highly desired
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
