This is Direct Hire position with a competitive compensation plan.

Base Salary ranges from $100K - $150K

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Promote products and solutions, especially on HVDC & FACTS, and plan/execute new business development and support sales activities and contracts.

• Develop, maintain and improve relationships with key regional accounts.

• Present products and solutions on HVDC & FACTS to power utility and industrial customers, search for business opportunities, accomplish market evaluation and penetrate companies brand and references at front of customers and leads.

• Coordinate and participate in marketing events and activities including conferences, user meetings, seminars, exhibitions, on-site demonstrations and after-sale customer training and services.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of power electrical systems, especially HVDC & FACTS applications, and utility operations.

• Reputable business and work ethics and strong professional background and experience

• Knowledge and understanding of the organization and business processes employed by electric power companies, government agencies, manufacturers and industrial consumers in the North American market.

• Capable to schedule customer contacts and react to new business opportunities, projects, and specification review.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 10 years or more of professional experience in power industry, especially in transmission and distribution systems.

• 5 years or more of direct engineering, consulting, schematics and marketing experience in HVAC and HVDC transmission areas.

• IEEE working group member and HVDC specialist are preferred.
EDUCATION

• Bachelor of Science degree or above in Power Electronics or Electrical Engineering
