Aerotek is currently seeking Customer Service Representatives to assist one of our clients in Columbia, MD. The individuals would be responsible for conducting research study telephone interviews following a scripted questionnaire.
Responsibilities:
- Collect accurate, consistent and reliable data
- Record and code data collected
- Assist with locating and refusal conversion
- Assist with other duties as assigned, such as mail preparation, faxing, filing, etc.
Skills:
- Must have excellent oral/written communication and comprehension skills
- Must be EXTREMELY reliable regarding attendance
- Must be conscientious, responsible, and an EXCEPTIONAL team player
- Must be efficient and accurate in completing assigned tasks
- Must be able to concentrate on-task despite some surrounding ambient noise
- Must be able to handle survey respondents and co-workers in a pleasant and professional manner
- Must be willing and able to follow specific directions and established procedures; strict interviewing guidelines; and demonstrate ability to recognize problems and request supervisor assistance
- Must be able to sit for several hours at a time
- Experience with desktop computers and typing required; skill level will be assessed
Shift:
- Candidates will be expected to work between 18-24 hours at a minimum and up to 29 hours on average. They can work 40 hours in a week but should not expect to get 40 hours every week.
- 4-5.5 hour shifts Survey Center is open 7 days a week, daily hours of operation may vary, but currently are:
- Monday-Thursday: 5pm-midnight
- Friday: 5pm-11pm
- Saturday: 12:30pm - 9:00pm (5pm-9pm preferred)
- Sunday: 3:30pm - 12am (5pm-9pm preferred)
- Part-time work expectation is 18-24 hours a week at a minimum
- All interviewers must be available to work 16 weekend hours per month (Saturday and/or Sunday)
- Candidates must attend all training to work on any project
