Production Director/Audio Engineer - Full-time

Position Strings Music Festival seeks a full-time Production Director/Audio Engineer. This position is responsible for the production of all events in the Strings Music Pavilion and community events presented elsewhere by the organization. Roles & Responsibilities Ensure all production staff and contract/rider requirements are met for all events, including on and off site events as well as rentals (this includes, but is not limited to, hiring and scheduling all part-time and full-time seasonal production staff, creating a production schedule, advancing runner and merch seller needs, retrieving stage plots, input lists, contact information, settlement needs, backline requirements and rentals, comp ticket distribution, piano tuning, hospitality, extra lighting, video, audio, loader needs, etc., and efficiently communicating above information to all staff prior to show) Work with on-site and off-site talent buyer to ensure contract/rider requirements are met for all events Facilitate clear communication throughout the production process, acting as liaison between Strings staff and visiting artists and their respective production staff Provide live sound engineering services at all events Manage and maintain all related equipment, troubleshooting and repairing as necessary Behringer X32 32ch digital console AudiaFLEX DSP, Lab Gruppen, Danley Sound Labs sound system Shure ULX-P and QLX-D microphone systems Provide recording services as requested, coordinating with Marketing Director regarding publishing multimedia compiled from the Strings Pavilion Test and evaluate relevant new technology and acoustical attributes of Strings Pavilion Manage budgets for programs, production staff, equipment upgrades or repair, and rentals Plan venue configuration for rental event needs Assess and inventory Strings Pavilion before and after rental events Perform basic office IT tasks, including troubleshooting of printing and networking Perform additional duties as assigned YourMembership.
