Job Description

Kelly Services is sourcing for an experienced Customer Service Representative in Torrington, CT.
This is a Direct Hire opportunity.
Overview of Position:
In this position you will be responsible for receiving, reviewing, and entering data into our MRP system according to established procedures.
Building and Managing customer relations
Responsibilities may include:
- Develop relationships with customers; liaison between customer and company personnel
- Provide product and service information by answering questions and requests
- Create Sales Order; enter data into the computer retrieved from customer purchase orders; enter required data from source documents into the MRP system following format displayed on screen, and enter necessary codes.
- Confirm accuracy of data such as purchase order number, part number, quantity, on-dock date, delivery location, price, and special instructions.
- Work with Contracts team to resolve problems, inconsistencies, or missing data from the source documents
- Validate Sales Order accuracy by comparing the data entered with source documents
- Review and make necessary corrections to information entered
- Reconciliation of customer web portals and order entry
- Scan various documents such as customer orders, Accounts Payable documents, Project documents, and Proof of Delivery documents


Requirements

Skills:
- MS Office applications
- MRP or similar program
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task;
- Strong organization skills; ability to prioritize
- Strong attention to detail
Experience/Education:
Bachelors degree in Business/Management preferred
