Job Description:
Innovative packaging company in the greater Boston area seeks an entry-level to mid-level field service technician with an electrical and mechanical background to troubleshoot/repair their equipment. You will be responsible for conducting installations on various packaging equipment machines. You should possess excellent communication and customer service skills and be a self-starter. Salary + OT, 60-70% travel throughout US (possibility for international travel). Home based. Relocation assistance for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities for the Field Service Technician
The Field Service Technician positions have been created to handle the most technically challenging installations, field engineering and problem solving assignments.
Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be team oriented, have a "Can Do" approach to all challenges and possess a strong commitment to quality.
Associate will be proficient in conducting detailed service and expense reports expected with our processes in a timely manner.
Requirements for the Field Service Technician
Technical degree or any equivalent training that includes mechanical, electrical, controls, hydraulics and pneumatics.
Experience reading mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical drawings.
Strong experience PLC troubleshooting and/or programming
Must be willing to travel a minimum of 70% of the time.
