Job Summary

 

Opening manager for brand new 111-Room Courtyard by Legoland.  Opening Fall of 2018.  


General Manager responsible for the daily operations of this full-service hotel including managing labor costs and property level expenses; resolving guest issues; motivating and directing employees; interviewing, hiring, training, and development of staff; inspecting rooms to ensure quality standards for cleanliness and proper maintenance; reviewing room inventory to maximize room revenue; and working closely with the Sales staff to secure and satisfy corporate accounts.  


As General Manager, you will create and maintain customer-driven operations with a vision that inspires hotel associates to do their best. You will oversee the quality process to ensure guest satisfaction by consistent delivery of both product quality and service to achieve the hotel's financial objectives. This position requires experience in all phases of hotel management.


Job Requirements

  • Three to five years Marriott management experience.  
  • Marriott GM Certification a plus !!
  • Food & Beverage management experience required
  • Opera PMS System knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge of maintenance and technical aspects of hotel
  • Proven ability to manage and direct large staff
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Sales and revenue experience required
  • Enthusiastic, positive, out-going, interpersonal skills a MUST for this position
  • Stable work history and references required
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
