Sales Engineer-Robotic Weld Seam Inspection:

Criteria:

  • Have knowledge of the manufacturing, assembly, and/or automotive industry.
  • 5 to 10 years' experience sales and marketing background.
  • Strong technical skills both mechanical and electrical.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Power Point, Excel.
  • Writing and document preparation a must.
  • Be detailed and goal orientated.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Be able to work alone and also with a Team.

Skills:

  • Strong Communication Skills.
  • Able to manage projects from start to end.
  • Travel will be ¾ of your time.
  • Have a general understanding of our technology and the competitors.
  • Worked within a territory to grow a business unit.
  • Able to look into the market and penetrate using partners and distributors.

Sales Manager-Traffic Control Technology

The Business Development Manager is responsible for growing our client's business in the field of traffic camera enforcement and road safety technology as well as maintaining relationships with existing partners and customers in North America.

This involves regular communication with various career level employees within public sector organizations (e.g. City Manager, Chief of Police, Department Heads of Public Safety and Transportation and elected officials) and our business partners throughout the USA and Canada.

Successful candidates will have sales management or account management experience, preferably with a background interacting with elected local and state officials.

This position is offered at our Head Office located in Louisville Kentucky.

Duties:

  • The primary objective of the Business Development Manager is to meet established sales goals by delivering real value to our clients through differentiated traffic camera enforcement products and services
  • Responsible for initiating and maintaining highly-satisfactory, responsive working relationships with clients at all phases within the client life-cycle.
  • Effectively present the our solutions to evaluation committees, city council members, etc.
  • Regularly call on and maintain existing accounts while continuing to prospect for new business by identifying and qualifying sales leads from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-
  • calling and lead databases.
  • Target and manage their territory strategically in conjunction with our companies specialist business partners.
  • Interface with our development and support team
  • Report directly to our president

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent applicable experience
  • Knowledge/ Experience in traffic camera enforcement
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Demonstrated highly effective relationship building and interpersonal effectiveness
  • Ability to travel within the United States and Canada
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and business partners simultaneously
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various government regulations, as it applies to a given client's needs
  • Need to be a highly engaged, positive team player and show a high degree of customer focus.
