Residential Service Technician - Full-time / Part-time

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must possess a valid driver s license and meet all required physical ability, efforts and exertions to perform the required job duties.
• Perform maintenance and repair services for residential and light commercial installations
• Report to work each morning at the scheduled time to receive daily work assignments from residential dispatchers.
• Maintain a quality of workmanship as set by the company
• Must have the ability to work in outdoor weather and temperature extremes.
• Professionally perform all scheduled maintenance and testing to equipment covered by maintenance contracts.
• Operate various measuring and diagnostic equipment required to perform scheduled maintenance and diagnose required repairs.
• Record and report to residential dispatchers any possible repairs or further diagnostics needed.
• To complete legibly all required check sheets, transfers, time cards, recording of parts used, and paper work necessary to complete maintenance or repair service.
• Responsible to work in a safe manner and to abide by the company s mandatory safety policies.
• Responsible for the start-up of equipment installed with the emphasis on confirming wiring, refrigerant charging, and safety procedures.
• Maintain all assigned tools and vehicle in top condition.

• Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, smell and lift, set-up and climb ladders as well as stairways. The employee is frequently required to stand and occasionally sit. The employee must regularly lift and /or move various weight ranges such as: 0-50 lbs frequently, 51-80 lbs occasionally and 81 plus seldom. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Maintain a neat and clean appearance and utilize all protective equipment provided and as required.
