Essential Responsibilities:In the role of Field Service Technician, you will:Comply with, all safety, health, environmental and quality Management Systemrequirements, policies and procedures relevant to the position Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements in respective areas ofresponsibility and/or location and monitor customer satisfaction. Provide customer with writtenreports Follow customer service orders as dispatched from Service Manager Complete necessary paperwork for invoicing, equipment identification and tracking, inventorycontrol and expense monitoring Evaluate, assemble / disassemble, install & repair all types / brands of wellhead and fracequipment Diagnose service problems and recommend or implement appropriate solutions Ensure periodic maintenance and repairs to Company vehicle consistent with company policy Maintain Company vehicle with necessary tools and equipment to perform service jobs Operate Company vehicle in compliance with applicable Company Have the ability to safely deploy to remote geographic assignment locations onshore and offshore locations with limited access to medical care, which may require 4 hours (or more) travel time to reach secondary level medical care Qualifications/Requirements: High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution Minimum 3 years of experience in field service or oil field Work on-call 24/7 Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending andother physical activities Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarilystanding and sitting, as required Lift objects weighing up to 40 lbs. Be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time Obtain Class A CDL license, when required by state law or whentowing test unit trailer To the extent that you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a GE owned /leased or rented vehicle for company business, you must be willing to submit to a check of your Undergo Periodic fitness for duty tests, examinations, and/or certifications will be required for onshore/offshore remote location assignments Desired Characteristics: Working knowledge of Mechanical, Electronic and/or Hydraulic Equipment Knowledge of Frac Operations Documentation and Record Keeping GEPC Equipment Identification Performing Equipment Completions (Single / Dual) Performing Equipment Decompletions Disassemble, Inspect and Assemble GEPC Equipment Field Equipment Repair without Assistance Equipment Troubleshooting (GEPC & OEM Equipment) New GEPC Product Installation Equipment Problem Solving Customer Service Best Practices Mentoring and Training Intermediate Computer Skills Intermediate Language skills, Mathematical Skills and Reasoning Ability
