Windsor, CT electro-mechanical manufacturer is looking for Final Inspection candidates on a temp to hire basis. 1st shift with OT available, pay rates will range from $11.00 - $15.00 depending on experience.
Job Description:
Performs In-Process inspection of printed circuit boards as directed by the group leader of quality control. Prepares inspection reports, assists in-process inspection and solders. May be required to perform other duties such as First Piece inspections or as directed by the Manager of Quality Assurance.
Principle duties:
Reports to designated work area prior to the start of shift.
Reviews process documentation for any special requirements.
Inspects material to process documentation.
Inspects material to IPC - 610 Workmanship criteria.
Interfaces with touch-up personnel to resolve issues.
Interfaces with production manager on resolution of Quality issues.
Prepares inspection reports.
Ensures that work area is kept clean and that safety rules are followed.
Participates in company or special training classes with emphasis on employee improvement.
Education: Must have a High School Education.
Experience: Some experience utilizing IPC 610 Standard required.
Technical:
Ability to read and understand Engineering documentation.
Ability to determine critical points of inspection.
Ability to use simple electrical test and measurement instruments.
Ability to identify component values.
Ability to work with microscope or loupe.
Working knowledge of IPC 610.
Working knowledge of soldering electrical components.
