Production Supprt

Staffmark currently has openings for talented individuals to fill the role of Production Support in Richmond, KY. You will work as part of a team running and maintaining a group of extruders to efficiently produce quality window parts. Responsibilities include making crates (wood or plastic). Placing parts into crates and labeling them according to packaging procedures. Performing quality checks, cutting and weighing product samples for Q.A. or customers, monitoring extruders during production, and troubleshoot and repair during the extrusion process.
The ideal candidate should have at least six months experience in a manufacturing environment, be able to read and understand blue prints, be familiar with OSHA safety standards and SPC, and have the ability to use air guns, banders, chop saw, hand tools, calipers, radial arm saws, and other equipment as needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be available to work 12 hour shifts and rotating weekends. A 9th grade math and reading level is required.
