Consumer Collections

PrideStaff is seeking a Consumer Collection Specialist. This person will be responsible for collections of outstanding loans from the existing customers, resolving customer billing problems and reducing loan delinquency.

This opportunity is a temporary to hire, Monday through Friday 8:30 am through 5:30 p.m., as you grow in the position, there will be some later hours until 7:00 p.m.

Job Description:

• Reviewing open accounts for collection efforts
• Making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations
• Resolves customer billing problems , applying good customer service in a timely manner
• Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates
• Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss them with management
• Mail correspondence to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts
• Fax documents to accounts and follow up

Job Requirements:

• Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills required
• Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast changing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience in a collections environment is preferred but not required.
• Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy
• Creative, self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency
