POSITION PURPOSE
The ISE Finance Specialist is responsible for providing day to day financial budgeting support to their assigned areas within the In Store Environment organization. They will assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis, forecasting, billing, creating purchase orders, and receiving goods and services against the purchase orders. They must leverage strong data manipulation and business operations knowledge to explore historical financial data, predict future results and drive process/policy improvements.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
25% - Performs financial research and analyzes internal and external issues related to financial metrics.
25% - Compiles or prepares reports, graphs, and charts of developed data.
20% - Creates purchase orders (PO's) and receives goods/services against the PO's
15% - Gathers and correlates basic information using established and defined financial procedures
15% - Conducts special financial studies as directed
NATURE AND SCOPE
This position reports to Manager Finance.
This position has 0 direct reports.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Additional Environmental Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Additional Minimum Qualifications:
Education Required:
The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of an associate's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 2 years
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Previous experience with financial analysis/budgeting preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Advertising, Marketing, or related field preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills with the ability to discern information accordingly
