Service Technician - Full-time / Part-time

• The position is a front-line employee with the ability to evaluate, repair, and assemble valves and actuators.
• Calibration of field instruments such as level, pressure, temperature, and flow transmitters.
• Diagnosing customer product problems in their valves and actuators, using hand and power tools to disassemble, diagnose problem, repair, and assemble actuator or valve.
• Some on-site repair work at client sites which primary include ethanol plants, oil refineries, and similar process plants with a lot of piping.
• Most time spent in-shop repair of Actuators and Valves.
• Shop repairs include: using hand and power tools to disassemble & diagnose problems. Will also get trained to do basic manual machining, mig & tig welding on stainless & carbon steel, sandblasting parts and other steps in service work.
