Title: Inventory Control Specialist
Starting Pay: $10/hr
Job Description: As an Inventory Control Specialist you will be working hands-on with all of the physical inventory that arrives at Russell Cellular's Corporate Office. Additionally, you will be tracking and managing this inventory through an industry specific point of sale system. You will be vital to the flow of goods through Russell Cellular which allows the company to consistently provide the Inventory support needed for retail locations to thrive.
Job Responsibilities
The items listed below include a basic description of what the Inventory Control Specialist will be doing on a day-to-day basis, but is not limited to these items.
• Provide email support to Russell Cellular's retail locations
• Assist with weekly shipments of goods to all locations
• Assist with Monthly Inventory Counts in the Corporate Office
• Facilitate shipping devices to locations through Special Orders
• Verify and ship equipment back to vendors for credit to Russell Cellular
• Receive all incoming shipments to the Corporate Office and distribute accordingly
• Verify all incoming shipments physically and virtually and appropriately sort
Job Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills
• Experience with Inventory Operations & Logistics preferred
• 1-year experience working with virtual inventory preferred
• 1-year experience working with physical inventory preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Effective phone and email communication with colleagues
• Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of company products and services
• Maintain inventory control processes and procedures
• Develop and maintain knowledge of Russell Cellular and Verizon Wireless policies and procedures
• Able to work within a structured team environment
• Able to work independently and multi-task in order to achieve Corporate Office goals
• Able to work effectively with others
• Able to work as part of a dynamic team and be flexible
• Positive attitude and pleasant demeanor
• Professional appearance
