A successful Sling TV Partner Operations Manager will have the following:

  • 4+ years work experience in the media/entertainment space and/or project and relationship management
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree from four-year college or university
  • Experience directly managing teams
  • Ability to effectively communicate with programmers, C-level executives, marketing managers, product managers, operations managers, IT management, software development, test teams and infrastructure teams
  • Ability to manage time and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment while being personal and professional

 

The Sling TV Partner Operations Manager is responsible for onboarding and managing relationships with partners like Roku, Google, Apple and Microsoft. Time management, project management and effective communication will be essential skills for success in this role. Position will coordinate projects across all partner and internal functional areas. The ideal candidate will demonstrate solid organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced work environment.

 

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

  • Conduct daily communication with the partner, anticipate partner needs and effectively communicate to the operational staff
  • Act as a liaison between partners, production operations, marketing, product and executives
  • Ensure project portfolio is prioritized and manage new project requests through the project lifecycle
  • Manage product release and track release milestones 
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing
  • Effectively manage teams
