For more information, please visit This position will be responsible for the management of projects and initiatives that deliver solutions and services for Planning Operations. The Project Manager will interact closely with the sponsor, compensation design teams and various other cross-functional teams to define the project parameters and to develop detailed project documentation.  This will include driving Business Requirements, Project Plans, and Project Schedules. The position will help with the translation of customer requirements into specific plans and tasks using knowledge of T-Mobile and system development life cycle methodologies, and will assure proper conduct, documentation, and communication of assigned project deliverables.Minimum Required:  
  • 2-4 years formal project management work experience
  • Must be proficient and have experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Project and Visio.
  • Working understanding of PMI principles and practices; demonstrated ability to apply PMI principals required.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; effectively communicates with all employee levels and levels of management.
  • Ability to identify project impacting issues and work with more senior members of the Project Management team to develop and implement solutions.
  • Awareness of general accounting practices, related to project management - including budgeting, invoicing, purchase orders, and accounts payable.
  • Must typically have a background in the project business area assigned, in order to successfully serve as a conduit between the technical functions and the business clients.  
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree Major/Minor in Business Administration or Project Management
  • A combination of equivalent experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Facilitate cross-functional group workshops to deliver requirements, assess new projects/initiatives and evaluate progress of current initiatives.
  • Translate project requirements into project objectives and tasks, manage task assignments to project resources, and report on and manage project scope throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Interface with all areas affected by the project, including end users, services organizations, cross- functional groups and implementation partners.
  • Review project deliverables for accuracy and apprise management of issues effecting project status and offer solutions to solve the issues.
  • Ensure satisfactory transfer of custody and control of product upon completion (handoff) and close all project documentation and archive appropriate records.
  • Create and support standards, processes and procedures necessary to produce the deliverables from the team.
  • Develop lessons learned documentation.
  • Lead and facilitate executive board meetings.
  • Confidently make presentations to small, mid-size and large audiences.
  • Act as liaison between all functional groups.
  • Manage issues and escalate to management when necessary.
