Description
Position is responsible for day to day activities of directing, controlling and coordinating all phases of warehouse and distribution operations. Liaison between distribution center and sales center management to ensure timely and accurate deliveries in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Manages execution of day to day distribution center operations.
Works within parameters of both labor and other operating expense budgets.
Assists in the selection, supervision, and development of subordinate personnel.
Assists in the establishment, analysis and submission of annual departmental budgets.
Maintains collaborative relationships with distribution center(s) and all other departments to achieve goals and customer satisfaction.
Adheres to company standards and policies in addition to all regulatory requirements.
Support and implement Company initiatives to achieve performance, quality and safety metrics
Proactively improves process functioning and strives for enhanced levels of efficiency.
Ensures the safeguard and security of company assets.
Works with sales center for planning and forecasting of volume.

Requirements

Job Requirements
* Associates Degree or equivalent years of experience in a similar position required.
* Supply chain experience or business-related Bachelor's degree preferred.
* 5+ years previous supply chain and/or operations supervisory or management experience in a related industry required.
* Prior experience in union environment preferred
* Hands on management experience with ability operate while receiving limited direction required.
* 8+ years previous Supply Chain/Operations management experience in the beverage or related industry preferred.
* Ability to work in a team environment preferred.
* Experience managing change preferred.
* Presentation and public speaking skills preferred.
* Advanced computer skills preferred.
* Extended periods of sitting, typing and looking at computer screen.
