About this job

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate in Portland, TN for 1st Shift – 6:00am–2:30pm, Rotating Days. Pay Rate: $12.00. Interested candidates should have previous Warehouse experience operating a Forklift. 

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate:

  • Pick & Pack Product
  • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using a stand-up forklift
  • Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded
  • Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary

Requirements of the Warehouse Associate:

  • Previous Warehouse or Inventory experience
  • Previous experience operating a Forklift 
  • Ability to use Automated Inventory Control Equipment
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions

Physical Requirements of the Warehouse Associate:

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds 
  • Ability to stand, bend, squat, and twist up to 10 hours

Compensation of the Warehouse Associate:

  • $12.00 per hour
