Recruiting Coordinator - Leading Tech-Giant University Recruiting
We have an opening on the Client University Recruiting team pursuing and hiring the best and brightest from North American universities. As a University Recruiting Associate focused on our University engagement strategies, you will gain a solid understanding Client's businesses while providing valuable support to the University Recruiter in a school set, pipeline, or region. University Recruiting requires problem solvers that enjoy evaluating and seizing opportunities. You will work on loosely defined problems incorporating strong data and administrative acumen into decision making within tight time constraints.

Primary responsibilities of a University Recruiting Coordinator may include:


  • Scheduling university candidates for their first-round interviews with Client's and building interview schedules for our technical and non-technical interviewers.
    * Assisting in planning, organizing and preparing non-recruiter attendees for on-campus university events such as career fairs, Client presentations, conferences, and on campus interviews.
    * Building and leveraging relationships with internal/external contacts (candidates, career centers, faculty, former interns, students, student org leaders/advisors, technical interviewers at Client facility, alumni, recruiters, etc.).
    * Completing administrative tasks such as posting job descriptions and leveraging internal tracking tools.
    * Assist with on campus marketing efforts.
    * Data management - partner with Account Manager to ensure all data is accurate and updated within expected timeframes.

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree and 3 years of relevant work experience.
    * 1 year of experience in recruiting field.
    * Required: Working Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote).
    * Proven ability to prioritize in the midst of ambiguity.
    * Strong organization, attention to detail, cultural awareness, interpersonal, time management and problem-solving skills.
    * Customer service and phone communication skills.
    * Ability to effectively manage high volume.
    * Demonstrable experience and expertise within a recruiting or corporate environment is preferred.
    * Candidates should be able to effectively manage multiple projects and requests while contributing to a fun and collaborative team environment.



    Typical Day in the Role:
  • Start Date: Asap.
  • End Date: 4/17/2018.
  • *Flexibility between 9, 12, 18 months totally dependent on business need.


Daily Schedule: M-F 40hrs/week.

It varies by role, so we're looking for someone who can come in and self-manage their day, knowing what their upcoming deadlines and deliverables are related to the world of recruiting. They need to be able to keep up on emails, completed their projects, and be critically thinking about what's upcoming and share with their manager.

Our Building 111 will be under construction from April-August so they will be assigned dependent on seat, likely an open space or an office. When our remodel is complete in August all contractors across UR will sit in open office area together on our first floor. Every contractor will be in an open office desk so needs to be ok to work in potentially distracting environment. Encouraged to leverage peers and overhear candidate phones calls for improved training.
