Electrician - Full-time / Part-time

IMMEDIATE NEED FOR ALL JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIANS

JOB TYPE: Full time, long term position.

PAY: $40.00 - $65.00 D.O.E

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Capitol Valley Electrical solar project in Eagle point, is seeking a General Journeyman Electrician- Active in the state of Oregon- To work on a 10m Solar Project in Medford.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Use hand tools, power tools and testing equipment as needed.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
• Interpret blueprints to determine the location of wiring.
• Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment.

Requirements:

• Active General Journeyman Electrician License
• Open to Medford location
• Open to contract work
