Home Instead Senior Care is seeking caring and compassionate CAREGivers to join our team and assist in our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.
Current Assignments:
Daytime- during school hours available - we can work around your drop off/ pick up schedule!
CAREGiver duties include, but are not limited to:
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Incidental Transportation
- Assistance with grooming and bathing
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence cares
- Assistance with ambulation
- Dementia and Alzheimer’s Care
*Skills training provided by Home Instead Senior Care - No certification required*
Requirements to be a CAREGiver: - Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to engage with others in a friendly and congenial manner
- Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
- Reliable vehicle with auto insurance and current MN Driver's License
- Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to occasionally lift/push/pull/carry up to 80 lbs.
