CAREGiver- On-Call - Part-time

Home Instead Senior Care Louisville - East and Oldham County offers many different types of in-home senior care that can be individualized to meet the needs of our clients.The Home Instead Senior Care network has been delivering in-home senior care for more than 20 years. Our location serves Jefferson County which includes: St. Matthews, The Highlands, Jeffersontown, Fern Creek, Prospect, Eastwood, Middletown, Highview, Okolona, Pewee Valley, Crestwood, Buckner, Goshen and LaGrange.

We have a rewarding position on our team for an experienced and dedicated ON-CALL CAREGiver . The on-call CAREGiver is a unique role for someone who is looking for flexibility and night time hours.  The on-call need is from 7pm to 7am and you can choose the days you want consistently every week (Thursday - Sunday). We offer a flat rate for on-call rate nightly, in addition to your hourly wage if called.  This is perfect for someone looking for a second job on the weekends or a student. 

 
Requirements:

• Have the ability to start a shift at 7pm through 7am
• Be willing and able to work with all clients served by Home Instead and able to perform all functions required 
• Must be able to work in client(s) home may contain cigarette smoke
• Must be able work in client home that has cat and/or dog.

  Qualifications:

• Previous experience in personal care and other related fields
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Reliable transportation, drivers license, and car insurance
• Ok in homes with cats, dogs, and smokers
