Job Description: Guardian Angel Staffing is taking applications for Licensed Practical Nurses for FULL-TIME Employment opportunities in a State Hospital and a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The State Hospital is a 175-bed acute care adult Psychiatric facility that provides acute, inpatient psychiatric care for adults who are mentally ill. The Skilled Nursing Facility is a 144-bed skilled nursing facility for the care and treatment of persons with behavioral health, and intellectual disabilities; serving persons with co-current chronic behavioral health and physical health issues. PAY RATE: STARTING AT $18.50/HR SHIFT: 11pm to 7am 6pm to 7am Requires rotating weekends JOB SUMMARY: By the direction of a Registered Nurse, provides aspects of direct care in which competency has been validated to administer medication, implement specific aspects of nursing care, such as assistance with combative patients, observing volatile patient behaviors, assisting with admissions, discharges, patient teaching as directed. Serve on committees, assist with activities, daily living, and other functions as assigned by the registered nurse. JOB RELATIONSHIP: A. Responsible to- Registered Nurse B. Works closely with- Patients, other staff, families, and other departments C. Evaluations- Annually QUALIFICATIONS: A. Education Requirements- successful completion of course requirements for an approved practical nurse program. B. Training/Experience/Special Skills Requirements- completion of orientation. C.
