Patient Care Technician - Med/Surg

Patient Care Technician Witham Health Services is looking for aPatient Care Technician for the Med/Surg Department. On Med/Surg, you would be a part of an interdisciplinary treatment team and perform basic patient care procedures. This includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with personal hygiene, feeding and ambulating patients, and effectively communicating with the patient and all members of the team. As a Patient Care Tech, you would often be one of the first to meet the patient and the patient's family, so you must be skilled in communication and public relations. You would also be responsible for clerical duties involving the medical chart. High school education or equivalent preferred. Certified Nursing Assistant preferred. Nursing Assistant experience in another health care facility preferred but will provide on the job training. Must successfully complete the Witham Health Services Nursing Assistant orientation program. Must be Healthcare Provider BLS CPR certified.
