A successful Sales Recruiting Manager will have the following: 

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with 3 years related experience and/or training; or five plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in high performance recruiting and at least 2 years previous successful recruitment leadership experience
  • Must be flexible and innovative in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment
  • Demonstrated excellence in leadership, communication and presentation abilities, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as experience with change management and vendor management
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and with Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Ability to forge strong, collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization including the executive level and be able to identify problems, collect data, and make reasonable recommendations based on fact-finding

This may be the most exciting time to be a part of DISH and the Sales Recruiting team is a major part of that.  We are seeking an energetic Recruiting Manager who does what it takes to ensure delivery of innovative plans to attract top talent into our sales teams, management of a team of dedicated recruiters, and inspiration towards excellence.  The team takes great pride in their role.  It will be your responsibility to be their champion and keep them engaged and excited about the job that they do on a daily basis.  Our team is very serious about going above and beyond to exceed high expectations.

 

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories: 

  • Use your expertise to help continue to build a best-in-class in-house recruiting team for great customer and candidate experience; work closely with the entire recruitment team to continuously improve and implement recruiting methods and technologies to adjust to changing market and customer conditions
  • Work with your recruiters to continually refine our external and internal employment brand and strengthen the talent pipeline through continual proactive sourcing, market-based research and benchmarking
  • Manage the high-volume recruiting environment of our Direct Sales organization which consists of call center, hourly + uncapped commission based roles, and to manage the salaried recruiting for our Indirect Sales organization, which supports our outside sales channels
  • Hold your team accountable with aggressive expectations; manage and coach the recruiting staff to deliver peak performance
  • Build close and strategic relationships with our Sales executive team to develop long-term talent slates
  • Prepare analytical reports as necessary for all levels of the organization ensuring the integrity, timeliness and maintenance of the data; use the data to make recommendations on all recruiting areas, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring, and digital media spend
  • Work closely with our digital media vendor to manage a multi-million dollar advertising budget
