Overview:

The Loyalty Acquisition Manager will drive retail sales by strengthening relationships between TJX and its customers. Individual will be responsible for working with a team to deliver a robust customer loyalty acquisition and engagement program, campaigns and communications as it relates to the TJX’s customer segments and their behaviors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with a team of brand managers, store operators and our bank partner in the primary goal of driving customer loyalty and lifetime value through a deep and timely understanding of customer behaviors and needs, then translating that understanding into targeted marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Individual will be responsible for working with a cross-functional team to deliver a robust TJX Rewards loyalty acquisition plan, campaigns, proposing new initiatives, communications, partnerships and enhance technology capabilities to drive acquisition for TJX Rewards. Individual will be data driven and have a strong pulse on performance against core KPI’s.
  • Execute a loyalty marketing strategy and plan that drives: member loyalty acquisition, share growth, revenue, and retention; work towards executing a truly omni-channel loyalty and CRM strategy.
  • Develop targeted campaigns and communications strategy to include credit card marketing (points offers, retention, soft benefit programs, etc.) and multi-tender loyalty program marketing, creative assets, etc.
  • Solicit partnerships from internal/external stakeholders to create and grow acquisition/engagement/satisfaction.
  • Execute cross-channel marketing strategies, managing internal and external partners throughout the business, including marketing, merchandising, e-commerce and creative.
  • Assess the effectiveness of existing initiatives and recommend and design new ones.
  • Optimize the loyalty customer journey to ensure stellar customer experiences across channels/devices.
  • As needed, make recommendations to better formulate improvements in our loyalty and CRM strategy, with clear objectives and measures of success.
  • Work with teams responsible for analyzing data across customer touchpoints (transactions, credit card purchases, browsing behavior, offer and response tracking, channel behaviors, demographics, etc.) to deliver valuable and actionable insights.
  • Develop email marketing strategies based on insights gained across brand channels and in conjunction with brand managers to drive highly personalized and innovative direct communications which elicit a response and transaction from target customers
  • Collaborate with other departments (finance, store operations, global payments, IT, etc.) to ensure a customer and loyalty marketing program focus is grounded in data to drive future strategy
  • Work with outside bank partner to develop predictive models that will allow TJX to better target prospect customers through communications, including direct mail, email and appropriate digital channels and devices to drive repeat purchasing and incremental revenue opportunities.
  • Strive to improve customer engagement and customer experience through every shopping experience
  • Partner with the Digital Customer Marketing team to create and execute effective content.
  • Stay current on industry advancement within the CRM space and develop recommendations as needed, including social media opportunities, mobile device integration as well as new and emerging media.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of creating and optimizing customer communication strategies with 5+ years managing and developing a team
  • Experience with loyalty programs
  • Experience with customer communications
  • Familiarity with app marketing
  • Team player who is collaborative
  • Ability to work with and diplomatically influence at all levels of the organization
  • Strong bias towards action
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite is required
  • Knowledge of retail industry is a plus but not required
  • Experience working in a multi-channel, multi-branded organization
