Warehouse Supervisor

Shift and Schedule

This is a full time permanent position working on either 1 st or 2 nd shift. 1 st shift hours are from 6 am – 4:30 pm. 2 nd shift hours are 4 pm – 2:30 am. Must be open to overtime and weekends as well as working over the standard 40 work week as the business needs.

Position Responsibilities

  1. Ensure the safest possible organization by eliminating environmental and behavioral risks.
  2. Maximize service to the customer by building internal and external customer/supplier relationships, exceeding all service KPIs, and ensuring proper inventory levels are maintained.
  3. Strive for perfection by holding yourself and your staff to the highest standards of professionalism, and ensuring the proper execution of processes.
  4. Commit to 100% compliance with all regulatory agencies and internal EHS and Quality controls.
  5. Exceed all financial and operational metrics by providing sound guidance and direction to the team, ensuring a highly trained staff, and removing obstacles to performance.
  6. Communicate effectively throughout the organization, courageously take A.C.T.I.O.N., and continue to develop yourself and others.
  7. Motivate and inspire others by engaging and empowering them to create a culture of total teamwork.
  8. Challenge the status quo and drive process improvement by modelling a Rapid Continuous Improvement mindset.

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience in warehouse/distribution center operations
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office
  • 2 years of experience with SAP Warehouse Management System or similar system.
  • 2 years of experience with Occupational Safety Regulations
  • 1 year of experience with Lean Tools, Visual Management, TPM, and 5s
