Outbound B2B Sales Representative

Through a provided lead list, the Outbound B2B Sales Representative, will call upon Small – Medium sized businesses that are current shipping clients or account holders for one of the most well-known providers of transportation, e-commerce and business services in the global shipping industry. Accounts may have been without recent activity, so the objective is to get the customer to commit to more shipping in the future. You will engage in consultative selling to learn more about the business and engage in conversations with the owners or decision makers.

What You’ll Experience Every Day in your Road to Success:

• Grow your book of business through developing new business, maintaining/deepening existing customer relationships, and providing quality leads to other channels

• Customer Contact strategy consists of four different call types – New Account Follow UP, Call Cycle, Leads, and Messages

• Getting through to the Decision Maker by utilizing the Influencers and Users to help close the business

• Determine the customer’s shipping profile to earn business or will forward the lead to the appropriate channel

• Engage customers in a consultative manner to develop value propositions that meet their needs, increase volume from existing customers and acquire volume from new customers

• Document all contacts to evaluate the database and pipeline management

• Receive measurable job performance through a variety of related sales metrics

Experience you’ll need or want to be successful:

• Exemplary communication skills to include written, verbal and presentation skills.

• Ability to quickly develop relationships with decision makers and utilize influencers and users.

• Ability to identify new business opportunities.

• Superior active listening skills.

• Excellent customer service skills and a consultative sales approach.

• Self-starter with ability to meet deadlines in a high stress environment.

• Strong decision-making abilities in an autonomous environment.

• Must be result- driven and assertive.

• Detail and follow-up oriented.

• 1 year contact center sales experience required, B2B sales experience preferred, retail sales experience is acceptable.

• Proven sales track record.

• Must have perseverance and be open to make multiple calls to decision makers.

• Type a minimum of 30 words per min.

• Familiarity with basic use of voice mail and electronic mail systems.

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience is required.
