Contract Medical Coders x2 Openings:

Logistics:

• M-F, 8a-5p
• $15- $17/ hour, Could pay higher, Depends on Experience
• CPC or CCA Certification Required
• 1 Year+ of Coding Experience

Job Description:

Local medical group is currently seeking two coders for a contract assignment to help with the overflow of work through the end of this year. Job duties will include:

• Working with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS reference books for proper billing
• Coding ICD-10 diagnoses, links appropriate diagnoses with CPT procedure codes, and corrects any incorrect coding by provider
• Provide feedback to providers in instances of coding-related problems
• Assisting providers and clinician staff with coding problems and concerns
• Assisting Coding Supervisor to ensure charge tickets are up to date and with the correct CPT/ICD-10 and CPT codes

Qualifications:

• 1 Year Minimum of Coding Experience
• CPC or CCA Certification Required
• ICD 10 Coding
• Level of Care Experience
• Outgoing and Friendly Personality
