One of Aerotek's clients is looking to hire a few candidates for the Loss Mitigation team. Please see below for more information on this role.
Qualifications needed:
- Strong customer service skills
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years in a commercial financial services setting
- Collection or repossession knowledge
- General knowledge of accounting practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed
Day to day:
- Performs the act of repossession on all delinquent vehicle loans
- Responsible for collateral from the time of decision to repossess, to the final liquidation of the vehicle, which includes collection efforts
- Acts as the primary contact with repossession companies, tow agencies, repair shops and auction companies
- Assigns all Repossessions to recovery agents using the Recovery Database Network, online
- Performs Skip-tracing, utilizing various methods in order to help facilitate the locating of collateral
- Arranges transport to move the vehicle to auction and has it prepared for sale
- Compiles data to obtain a floor price for these vehicles at auction
- Sends appropriate letters as required by law
- Prepares account for Charge Off
- Handles posting of the sale check, reviews and pays all invoices from the repo agent
- Other duties as assigned/needed
