Maintenance Technician needed in Greenfield, IN!!
A company that produces, distributes, and sells ready-mix concrete in Greenfield, IN is looking for anIndustrial Maintenance Technician.This person will be responsible for all mechanical and electrical issues for all items inside the facility. Technician will primarily work on breakdowns. Preventative maintenance (PM) work will be done during down time. There will be daily PM work, continuous improvement projects, and daily breakdowns that they will be called to. Breakdowns can include any mechanical issues such as, hydraulic and pneumatic issues, gears, gear box malfunctions, and 3 phase motor issues. Continuous improvement projects will include fabrication work, mig and stick welding on forms.
Must have:
1.Fabrication - mig/stick welding, cutting, grinding
2. Industrial mechanical aptitude - working on hydraulic/pneumatic machinery. Changing gears, gear boxes, pumps, bearings, and 3 phase motors.
3. Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
4. Electrical background - ability to work with 24 volt - 480 volt machinery. Read a volt meter or multimeter
5. Must be able to work in a dirty environment
Location: Greenfield, IN
Pay: $22-24/hr
